Bushy Park on a week day afternoon in February.
Impressions: Face whipping wind and drizzle. ‘Don’t feed the deer’ signs, deer droppings, trees boxed in to protect against hungry deer, but no deer to be seen. Space, expanse, freedom, wide grass, trees. Opaque sky, wispy, bumpy grass, winter tree branches making lacy silhouettes in the sky. Children playing, yelling, cycling in groups, wailing under the rain cover of a push chair. Round lake in the middle of a roundabout, gold statue, gang of coots, gang of seagulls, swan.
Question: The trees here are protected by little fences as they grow. What do you use as protection as you grow and develop?
