Evergreen in Beckton District Park North

Beckton District Park North on a week day January morning.

Impressions: Thrum of the six lane road, wide grass, wide water, variety of evergreens, empty playground.  Mud, clear blue sky, thin ice, swans, flock of geese, pitbulls and terriers.  A man with a can and a cigarette in the bushes.  A girl feeding the pigeons.  A pair of police walking and chatting.

Question: The evergreens stand out now in the park.  What does it take for you to be evergreen?  To be resilient and able to thrive in all seasons?
