Putney Lower Common on a week day afternoon in February. 
Impressions: Wild grass, common land, space, grey sky, faint muddy paths, helicopters and planes whirring above. Mud, squelchy thick mud. Mud scuffed with boot and shoe prints, brown puddles. Dogs. A dog lolloping after a low flying bird. Dog owners with long handled orange ball throwers, dog owners prepared for the mud. Grave stones hidden between trees, under ivy and moss. Fairytale beautiful, haunting, aged.
