Wick Woodland on a week day morning in January
Impressions: Small woodland off the canal. Beautiful, naked, winter trees, mud, dropped leaves, wall of traffic sounds in the not too far distance. Feels eery, rubbish strewn, remnants of night time camps, ashes. A special place with a dark side. Dog walkers make me jump.
Question: Now the trees are leafless, we can see further. What can you see or understand in January that you couldn’t see before?
